We always joke that Aiden looks like a poindexter when we comb his hair to the side but when papa's glasses were added to the look there was no hiding his inner nerd!!

Christmas

Team Shelle had a fun Christmas season. Unfortunately mom had to work for most of it but we were able to see lots of friends and family. Aiden didn't really understand the concept of unwrapping the presents but had no trouble with the concept of playing with all the toys:)

Our Holiday season started with Aaron's cousin Mary's wedding the weekend before Christmas. Unfortunately by the time we got to the reception Aiden had spiked a high fever and was miserable. So Aiden and I went back to the hotel room, dosed up with Motrin, stripped down to the diaper, and called it a night. Fortunately by morning the fever had broken, and even though Aiden was not his usual self we managed to make it through the Shelle Christmas celebration with only a few meltdowns.

Brianna, Aiden, and I spent the morning after the wedding together while the dad's recovered from the wedding festivities. Bri is great with Aiden and gave him LOTS of pampering.

I tried so hard to get a good picture to use as a Christmas card this year but never found one that was just right (hence the lack of Christmas cards). Here were a few of the top contenders.

Snow Day

Our first big snow adventure. He wasn't too sure about it at first but soon discovered that it is fun to eat and squish around in his mittens. It was funny thought because he was so stuffed into his snow suit he couldn't really move from where I put him. He did love getting pulled around in the sled that Grandpa John got him last year, he just belly laughed the whole time he was in the sled :)

The long lost Shelles

Many apologies for the lack of blogging this past month. Aiden has been keeping up very busy and the time just seems to fly!! Aiden (aka Captain Destruction) is getting into everything these days. He loves to bang things together, rip up paper, and basically destroy anything he can get his hands on. He defiantly understands "no" and generally listens but just can't seem to resist somethings (phones, remotes, TV's). He is still not walking independently but cruises around holding onto all our furniture. He defiantly could walk but just seems too be too chicken to let go. Overall life for Team Shelle is good, so here are just some random pics.
