Dog? Beaver?
When we got Migo at the Humane Society they told us that he was part Lab and part something else. Well we used to think that he might be part Sheppard or Pit Bull but now we realize he is part Lab and part Beaver. This picture doesn't really do it justice but he has dragged tons of logs off our wood pile and stripped them of all their bark. At first we kept picking up the logs but it is really pointless because he just keep getting more - oh well what ever keeps him busy :)
On the move
This was a big weekend for Mr. AidenJohn - he figured out how to roll from his back to stomach!! He has been rolling the other way for a while now but couldn't quite get from the back to the tummy, then on Friday night - plop over he went. He is now rolling all around the living room and when he is on his stomach he is lifting his butt and kicking his legs so I think that crawling may be here before we know it... yikes.

Formula
Just a quick tip for anyone using infant formula.
Since Aiden is now 7 months!! I have stopped pumping at work and have been giving him formula during the day. We have been using Enfamil Lipil since that is what he got in the hospital, unfortunately it is SUPER expensive. I get it at Sam's club (also the cheapest place to get diapers and wipes) but it still costs 32$ for 38oz (about 84 cents an ounce). Since we now go through a can in about 1.5-2 weeks that really adds up. However this past weekend I noticed that there is a Member's Mark (Sam's club brand) version of Lipil. All the ingredients are the same and it is way cheaper, 20$ for 52oz (about 36 cents an ounce). Aiden has been using it all week and is doing fine with it plus now if he doesn't quite finish a bottle it is not such a huge waste of money.
Just wanted to give all you formula users this info. because the money you save would be well worth the 30$/year membership fee.
