Halloween

HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!! We decided that since Aiden still travels on all fours it would be appropriate to have him be a puppy for Halloween....soooo mom did her best handy work to create a puppy costume and although he was mistaken for a bear on several occasions we think he made a pretty good doggie.

More Randoms

The favorite pass time - emptying drawers and cupboards. I moved all my non-breakables into a few cupboards and didn't put child locks of them so Aiden empties them multiple times a day.

Our friends Jack and Kristen (The Weavers) have been visiting from Norway. Their son Nicklas is 7 months old and sooooo cute. We had a farewell breakfast with them last weekend and the boys were pretty cute sitting next to each other. They shared some toys and seemed to enjoy poking at each other.

Jack & Kristen - It was GREAT to see you and meet Nicklas!!! We can't wait until you move back to the states :)

Aiden is going to be a puppy dog for Halloween. He was trying on his costume to make sure it would work before I finished it and he looked so adorable I had to grab some pics.

Pumpkin Patch

Since I worked last weekend I got to take today off so team Shelle went on their first adventure in the new van (we like to call her Vanna Blue). We went up to Mt. Pleasant to visit Grandma & Grandpa while Aaron went to class. We stopped at Uncle John's Cider Mill on the way home. Unfortunately Aiden woke up with a bad cold this morning so he was pretty spaced out through the adventure. We got pumpkins, cider, and doughnuts...so mission complete.

1 Year Pics ...finally

As promised here are Aiden's 1 year pics. He did a pretty good job for most of the photo shoot with only a few tears towards the end (as seen in the final pic). Luckily he did give us his handsome smile (notice all the teeth - he has 6 now) and of course looked just as cute as ever !!

Busy Busy Busy

Team Shelle has been super busy this past week. On Wednesday Aiden, Aunt Jen, and I went to see the Extreme Home Makeover house. It was freezing and raining but Aiden was a trooper and it was cool to see the house in person. While we were there one of the designers came out to take pictures with the crowd. I didn't know who he was (I don't watch the show) but everyone else was really excited to see him so when he offered to pose for a pic with us I figured I should probably do it :)

Then on Thursday Aaron and Aiden went up to MSU to see Obama speak. It was a long afternoon for them but defiantly worth it. I know Aiden won't remember it but it is cool that he got to see the future president in person. I told Aaron that if he got close enough to Obama he should toss Aiden into his arms and get a pic but unfortunately he didn't get close enough :(

On Friday we went down to EL to see the MSU homecoming parade. It was fun but really long. We stayed to about 1 1/2 hours but then called it a night.

Saturday we tailgated for the game with the Shelles - it was really cold but still fun.

Then today (Sunday) we finally got Aiden's 1 year pictures taken. He screamed for a lot of the photo shoot but we did manage to get some cute pics (I will post them soon).

In addition to all the action we also had the pleasure of our first tantrum - it basically involved Aiden flopping on the floor and just yelling for an unknown reason - It was really great!! Can't wait for more of those !!
