Sept Recap

Once again I have become a blog slacker ... sorry I will try to do better in the furture :)

Life has been exciting.  Aiden turned 5 and started kindergarten.  Isaac turned 3 and started part time preschool.  And James has learned to roll, sit, crawl, and is starting to pull up to stand !!  The time has been flying by but we are trying to enjoying every minute!

 

First day of kindergarten.  It was an adjustment since it is full day school with no nap time (there were a few tears of exhaustion after school the first week)  but now he loves it.  We love the school he is in - they focus a lot of becoming a good person as well as academics.  For example when I asked Aiden why he got a sticker in gym he said it was because he practiced good self control ... awesome !!

James is advancing by leaps and bounds.  It was in about a two week period that he learned to roll, sit, and crawl ... now if he would just learn to sleep !

Still as cute as ever !!

He was a little nervous when I dropped him off but adjusted with no problems and no tears !!

August Review

James started eating solid food.

Isaac turned 3 !!!

Aiden turned 5 and we had an awesome birthday party for the boys !!

Personal space continues to be a foreign concept.

Cottage 2012

We had the third annual family cottage week last week and it was great.  We were at a new cottage near Traverse City (my new favorite place) and it was awesome.  The beach was on the bay so it was so shallow that you could walk literally hundreds of yards out and only be up to your knees.  My boys loved this and it was much less stressful for us not to have to worry about deep water and big waves !!

Memorial Day Weekend

 We spent Memorial Day Weekend at the Beebe cabin with all of Aaron's family.  It rained a lot and we didn't have power Sunday but it was still great fun. I miss a lot of family events working weekends so it was really nice to have some good family time.  The boys had a great time with their cousins playing outside and getting VERY dirty !
