Swingin'

Aiden and I went to a birthday party this weekend at the Potter Park Zoo. We decided to try out the swings and he loved it, so last night we walked to the park near our house to do some more swinging and of course take more pics.

Fair Week

We took Aiden to the Ingham County Fair last week for his first (of many) sheep showing experiences. It was, of course, very hot so he struggled a bit when we were in the barns but he liked walking around the fair and eating all the fair food (mmmm elephant ears...).

"So I was just checking out my friends blogs and I thought that I would see what cute pics of me my mom had posted recently and that is when I saw it... mom hadn't posted in over a month!!! I couldn't believe it, especially since I've done so many cool things this past month. So I thought that I had better give everyone and update.

First I figured out how to crawl a few weeks ago and it is GREAT because now I can get into EVERYTHING! The coolest things I have found so far (besides the x-box) are the vacuum and Migo's food dish. Migo's dish is great because you can splash around in the water and then roll the little bits of food around on the floor. Mom and Dad don't seem to like it though because they tell me no, but I just look at them and smile real cute so they won't notice what I am doing :)

I have also grown two beautiful teeth this past month. I try to use them when I am eating, but so far they haven't really helped much (I still manage to eat pretty much everything in sight). It is pretty cool though because I get to brush them like a big kid and have a cool green toothbrush of my own.

In addition to crawling and growing teeth I have also learned to clap, wave (not to anyone in particular), and give high fives. I am starting to try to stand up more but sometimes it is hard to keep my legs straight, so I have to keep practicing.

Aiden John

July 4th

We were lucky enough to be able to spend the 4th on Lake Lansing with good friends and of course lots of good food. Aiden did really well on the boat, although he wasn't a fan of his life jacket since it is very bulky and he pretty much couldn't move when he had it on. He did enjoy driving the boat with Uncle Chris and playing with his buddy Collin. We ended the night watching the fireworks which he seemed to think were pretty cool. Overall it was a great 4th and one Aiden is sure to remember :)

Random Aiden

Now that Aiden can move around the living room it has become his quest to get the video game controllers (he really likes all electronics but the controllers are his fave). We have built multiple obstacles to deter him but somehow he still manages to get to those controllers:)
